Cybersecurity seems scary and overwhelming sometimes. But it doesn’t have to be.
Cybersecurity isn’t about stopping all the attacks. You could try, but it’s impossible to do. Nothing can be 100% secure. There are too many ways for an attacker to get in.
So don’t bother. Yeah, you heard me right. Don’t try to stop all the attacks. You can’t anyway. Why waste the effort?
Is your business online?
It should be. A lot of customers can’t find you if you’re not online.
So, why aren’t you online yet?
I have a guess—it’s another skill to learn. You’re juggling a million other things. You’re constantly learning new skills and you don’t have time or energy for tackling a website yet.
But your business needs to be online. What should you do?
HTTPS is misunderstood. People see the little green lock and think, “Great! I’m safe.”
But HTTPS isn’t about being safe. Underneath that green lock you’ll see the word ‘secure’. That’s what HTTPS is for, secure communications, not being safe.
